Take Part Presents: Sketch Comedy Course
September 17th - December 10th (Grades 7th-12th)
Bring the laughs to the stage! In this high-energy course, students will explore the art of sketch comedy—learning how to write, rehearse, and perform original comedic scenes. Taught by mentor Mitchell Weinbaum, the program emphasizes creativity, timing, collaboration, and stage presence.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Drop-Out Policy
For Regular Programs:
A full refund may be requested up until the end of the first week of programming. A 50% refund may be requested up to three weeks into the program. After the third week, no refunds will be issued.
For Summer Camps:
Cancellation requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the program start date for a full refund. Once the program begins, no refunds will be offered. Note: All refund requests must be submitted in writing to [mitchell@takeparttheater.com]. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Presented by Take Part Theater, in association with Wooster & Flood Middle School. Take Part Theater is proud to present MATILDA THE MUSICAL, a high-energy production celebrating imagination, courage, and standing up for what’s right.
WHO CAN AUDITION

Open to 7th & 8th grade students

Students audition through their home school (Wooster or Flood) or via Take Part Theater
-
All middle school–aged students are welcome to audition through Take Part Theater, regardless of school affiliation

If a student cannot attend their assigned audition date, parents may reach out privately to discuss alternatives.
AUDITION FORMAT
All materials are provided, Students will learn a short song from the show, Students receive an audition packet with selected scenes, Auditions are individual and include singing and reading No prior experience required.
AUDITION & REHEARSAL LOCATIONS
Students audition based on the school they attend or through Take Part Theater. After casting, all rehearsals take place at Wooster Middle School, regardless of audition location.
